Job Title: UX Writer

Job Details: The Team is responsible for designing user-centered experiences to unify and provide a seamless experience across all client touchpoints, both online and in-store, as we transform clients' businesses. As a team member, you'll partner with a cross-discipline team of user experience, user interface, research, content, product, and development professionals to create exceptional, user-centered digital experiences that drive business growth, consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Client is consumer-obsessed and a key voice for all our users. Designing with inclusive design best practices and high standards for accessibility hold us accountable for representing consumers from diverse walks of life, including multi-cultural, different abilities and various demographics.

What will you be doing:

• UX Writer will utilize your exceptional communication skills to coordinate work within the Design Team and cross-functionally with technical partners, customers (internal and external), stakeholders, business leaders and leadership to support the project's overall vision.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and researchers to define content strategies that support the overall user experience and business goals.
• Conduct and participate in user research to understand user needs, pain points, and language preferences.
• Use research findings to inform content decisions and improve the user experience.
• Work closely with UX designers to integrate content seamlessly with the overall design and user interface.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with product goals and user needs.
• Create and maintain documentation, including content guidelines, voice and tone guidelines, and content patterns for internal and external use. Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across the product.

Required Skills Set :

• 7+ years of experience writing digital UX/UI copy. Preferably for retail/ e-commerce orgs.
• Experience in writing user-centered messaging which is uniform and consistent throughout channels.
• Experience with ADA guidelines and their impact on content strategy
• Experience taking editorial brand guidelines and extending them to digital standards.
• Exceptional written English communication skills.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Figma, Miro, etc.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA would be an advantage.
