Our direction is clear we are going to LEAD ON PRICE. We want our Members to trust Sams Club to have the best prices regardless of where or when they choose to shop. As a Senior Pricing Manager, you play a key leadership role in shaping the strategies and tactics that fuel our LEAD ON PRICE focus.
Develop and ensure implementation of strategic fuel pricing initiatives based on Sams Club pricing strategy, competitive positions, and margin expectations
Collaborate with Fuel Team Leadership by creating actionable insights, implementing tests, driving effective price promotions, and partnering to deliver P&L
Evaluate business & operational problems, manage, and conduct data-driven analysis to assess potential solutions, & develop strategic recommendations addressing the root cause of problems
Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance by leveraging data to understand trends & identify opportunities to improve pricing performance.
Monitor key performance indicators and metrics for special and recurring projects
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, marketing, or related field AND 3 years of experience in merchandising, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, marketing, or relate field.
OR 5 years of experience in merchandising, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, marketing, or related field.
2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in the fields of in business, economics, finance, or related field
Multiple years experience in retail, consulting, pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, ecommerce, statistics, startup, or related field
Understanding of Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or Alteryx languages
Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to structure a problem, disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
