Team Leader – Schlotzsky’s

Schlotzsky’s is hiring a Team Leader to help drive a smooth and efficient shift, ensuring top-quality food and outstanding guest service. Team Leaders assist both kitchen and cashier departments, enforce cash control policies, and support daily checklists to maintain operational excellence. Learning and excelling in the Drive-Thru position is an essential part of this role.

Compensation: Competitive pay range $12.00–$14.00 based on experience, and location sales volume, plus advancement opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and perform both kitchen and cashier duties to support shift efficiency
• Assist with inventory control, food preparation, and service standards
• Enforce cash control policies and assist with daily checklists
• Lead by example in providing top-tier guest service
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Train and mentor team members to ensure a smooth shift
• Operate and manage Drive-Thru service with confidence

Qualifications:

• Experience: No prior management experience required, but previous leadership responsibilities in any job are a plus
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and assist team members to maximize efficiency
• Customer Service Focus: Strong hospitality mindset and willingness to engage with guests
• Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of handling shift challenges with a positive attitude
• Work Ethic: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and support management in daily operations
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Work Schedule & Physical Requirements:

• Night & weekend availability required
• Flexible scheduling for part-time and full-time roles
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Fast-paced, high-energy work environment
