Salary: $104,650 - 189,175 per year Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship and a Top Secret / SCI Clearance are essential for this position, along with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• A Bachelor’s degree with over 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency in performing systems and software engineering activities to support agile teams is necessary.
• Familiarity with systems administration roles and functions is required.
• Knowledge of secure systems engineering and development is needed.
• Experience with LINUX and WINDOWS environments is a must.
• Ability to manage multiple systems at the same time is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• A commitment to adopting and following best practices is necessary.
• Clear communication regarding technical options and trade-offs is important.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with a major programming language such as Python or Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of shell scripting is beneficial.
• Compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+, CCNA Security, etc.) is required.
• Experience with VMware and Docker environments is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of our agile team, you will provide hands-on system administration support for a complex network environment that includes both local and geographically distributed components. You will collaborate with system engineers, integration engineers, test engineers, information assurance engineers, and other project team members in an Agile setting. Your role involves ensuring that an appropriate level of engineering rigor is applied to all tasks assigned to you. You will actively participate in program increment planning and related agile team activities while collaborating with other technical professionals on a day-to-day basis. Your responsibilities will include assisting with hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, virtual environment setups, and patch installations. You are expected to be adaptable in learning new methodologies and applying them as needed, as well as providing support to the development team with system administration and network tasks.
