Boeing Intelligence and Analytics is looking for a Systems Administrator to join a dynamic team supporting the Army OSINT Office.

As a member of the team, you are an integral part of a global force supporting our Warfighters at a time of strategic competition. On this program, you will translate customer needs into detailed requirements and develop integrated software and support processes enabling the transformation of information into intelligence for decision advantage.

Candidates must be able to adapt in an exciting, dynamic operational environment while maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers.

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, ensuring adherence to enterprise requirements.
  • Perform software installations and upgrades, scheduling them in line with established IT policies and procedures, and monitor and tune systems for optimal performance levels.
  • Manage workstation/server data integrity through appropriate software and hardware solutions, including system backups and database archive operations.
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures, conduct audits of workstations and servers, and maintain comprehensive hardware and software configuration documentation.
  • Collaborate in the design of computing delivery systems, standards, and change management processes, diagnosing and resolving complex problems and leading root cause analysis.
  • Lead the administration of user system access, oversee security initiatives, and define companywide tools and processes for system performance monitoring and disaster recovery planning.
  • Mentor, lead, and train team members to ensure effective system administration practices.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • Advanced technical education (e.g., bachelor's degree).
  • Typically, 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Extensive experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers.
  • Proficiency in performing software installations and upgrades, scheduling, monitoring, and tuning systems for optimal performance.
  • Strong knowledge of data integrity management, backup procedures, and comprehensive documentation practices.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience in designing computing delivery systems, standards, and change management processes.
  • Proven ability to lead complex problem diagnosis and resolution, root cause analysis, and user system access administration.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$148,000 - $171,000
