THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.

Are you looking for an opportunity to build and grow your Information Technology (IT) skills and knowledge in an IT position with room for advancement? In this position, the incumbent will perform a wide range of technical assignments and tasks. The incumbent must have the ability to work independently and be willing to effectively collaborate with staff in other technical groups to provide technical support for the Employment Development Department's (EDD) centralized and decentralized personal computing systems, servers and network system distributed across multiple locations. The incumbent will provide remote and in-person technical support directly to EDD staff in multiple office locations across a local geographic area.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change as business needs arise. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office on their assigned in-office days. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the mployee.”
