  • Provide a supervised and safe swimming area within the guarded section of the beach.
  • Ensure patrons follow posted rules and regulations.
  • Provide emergency care to patrons in the swim area and other sections of the property.
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
  • Maintain all safety equipment, vehicles and supplies.

This is a limited-term, non-exempt position [16-40hrs/wk] reporting directly to the Crane Beach Public Safety Manager.

  • Interact with the public in a way that balances both the authority of your role as a lifeguard, and as a representative of TTOR.
  • Ability to run one mile in a sandy environment.
  • Ability to swim one-quarter mile in ocean conditions (this might include rough water and/or seasonably cold water).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
