Road Striping Supervisor

  What You'll Do:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of road striping crews to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Plan and oversee all phases of striping operations, including layout, preparation, application, and cleanup.
  • Operate and maintain striping equipment as needed to assist the team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, traffic control measures, and OSHA standards.
  • Travel out of town for extended periods as required to oversee projects and ensure their successful completion.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering skill development and safety awareness.
  • Conduct pre-project site inspections to determine requirements and plan resources.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring quality control.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including materials used, time logs, and progress reports.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and upper management to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Perform equipment inspections and arrange for maintenance or repairs as necessary.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Drivers License Required, must be 25 or have 5 years driving experience, and a clean MVR
  • Proven experience in road striping, construction, or a similar field (supervisory experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, project specifications, and traffic marking plans.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining striping equipment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and remain out of town for project durations.
  • Familiarity with traffic control guidelines and industry safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
