Job Title: Quality Engineering Technician Pay Rate: $30.00 to 32.00/hour Location: Windsor Locks, CT 06096 Area Code: 860 Shifts: 1st Employment Type: Direct, W2 / Benefits #QualityEngineering #manufacturing #AerospaceJobs Job Summary: Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to support site-level quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement activities. This role will provide hands-on exposure to aerospace quality requirements, internal and customer audits, and shop-floor collaboration. Ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience who are eager to grow a career in quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Review, revise, and maintain quality procedures and compliance documentation
• Participate in internal and customer audits, with the opportunity to co-lead as experience develops
• Collaborate with shop floor operators and supervisors to identify and implement process changes
• Complete customer surveys, quality screeners, and compliance updates
• Assist in developing training materials for operators and supporting staff
• Track and report on quality metrics and compliance status

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience with quality systems in aerospace or manufacturing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Exposure to shop-floor environments and familiarity with production processes
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• AS or BS in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or another relevant field
• Experience with internal auditing in compliance with AS9100/AS9110 standards
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action practices
