Acara Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor for our client located in Grand Prairie, TX at our Mayfield Rd Site!
The Production Supervisor is the key driver of all daily production related processes and the hub of information transfer between the hourly assembly workforce and Management with a focus on achieving daily production target goals.
This person will have 30 direct reports.
Payrate: $30-35/hr.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am (Potential OT from 12:30am-2:30am Monday - Friday & Saturday shift if needed from 5am-1pm)

Training will be on first shift for several weeks (7:00AM-4:00PM) and then will shift to more of a split shift mostly on first (10:00-7:00).
Potentially a Saturday shift if needed from 5A-1PM.
Onsite
Dayforce used for time keeping
No traveling.
Strong SAP experience is required and inventory management skills.
Job :
Drive initiatives to reduce production errors, improve quality and increase productivity
Adhere to production schedule, assigning personnel to work areas, monitoring
progress, resolving line constraint problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries
Work closely with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence
Moderate the flow between production and shipping.
Liaison between Purchasing and planning
Manage production floor inventory

Job Requirements
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Mechanical Aptitude with experience using hand tools
Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience coupled with 2 years of supervisory experience in a Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
Project Management, leadership, and time mgt. experience.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Mechanical Aptitude with experience using hand tools
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with computer programming and/or database management.
Experience with SAP or similar MRP system.
