Job Description

Role Snapshot

Based in Victoria, TX, you’ll be the go-to expert turning bare boats into dialed-in watercraft. From steering hookups to clean electrical runs and fuel system plumbing, you’ll make sure every vessel leaves our shop ready for unforgettable days on the water.

A Day in the Shop

You’ll review the work order, set up your bay, and begin outfitting—mounting and aligning steering components, routing harnesses, and laying out fuel lines. You’ll verify every connection with a multimeter and a digital low resistance ohmmeter (DLRO), then conduct safety and function checks. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot, answer customer questions, and keep your space organized and safe. Before closing out, you’ll document work performed and note any follow-ups.

What You’ll Do

  • Install and set up rigging systems: steering, electrical wiring, and fuel delivery.
  • Inspect all rigging components to confirm safety, reliability, and proper operation.
  • Assemble and fit accessories and equipment to manufacturer and shop standards.
  • Work with teammates to diagnose and solve rigging and systems challenges.
  • Keep the work area orderly and follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Deliver responsive, friendly support to customers—addressing questions and concerns.
  • Track new techniques and products in marine rigging to continuously improve workmanship.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; marine tech certification is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with boat rigging or closely related marine work.
  • Mechanical savvy with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfort working both independently and within a team.
  • Clear communication and a customer-first mindset.
  • Knowledge of marine electrical systems, wiring practices, and common tools.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends as needed.

Tools You’ll Use

  • Multimeter
  • Digital Low Resistance Ohm Meter (DLRO)
