Salary: $91,123 - 123,283 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
• Education: A BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills:
• - Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• - Strong abilities in Python for data analysis and engineering tasks.
• - Familiarity with AWS data and analytics services such as RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora, S3, and Database Migration Service (DMS).
• - Proficient in database administration and Structured Query Language (SQL).
• - Experienced in data modeling and normalization techniques.
• - Understanding of various data structures, including relational databases, semi-structured data, and object stores.
• - Experience with database migrations, both homogenous and heterogenous, on-premises and cloud-based.
• - Excellent communication and presentation skills, allowing the candidate to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• - Strong team player capable of managing multiple assignments and adapting to the changing needs of clients.
• - Knowledgeable in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Performing data migrations, developing data models, and creating database schemas.
• Providing expert-level design and development of relational databases.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines to facilitate extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
• Constructing and managing cloud-native data architectures in AWS and Azure.
• Identifying information needs, data relationships, flows, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities.
• Leading new data development initiatives, ensuring alignment and integration with existing data warehouse structures.
• Reviewing business requests for data usage, and researching new and enhanced data sources.
• Maintaining in-depth documentation on data processes, pipelines, and architecture to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Spearheading initiatives for continuous improvement in performance and functionality, performing proactive maintenance tasks, and documenting issues and solutions.
• Leading efforts to design data dictionaries, database layouts, and managing database applications.
• Presenting insights to diverse teams and stakeholders to facilitate informed, data-driven decisions.
• Collaborating with different teams to understand their data needs and devise solutions that address challenges and streamline workflows.
