Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2–5 team members on lawn maintenance and landscaping projects.
• Operate and oversee the use of equipment such as mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, planting, mulching, and site cleanup.
• Perform and monitor basic irrigation system checks and minor repairs as needed.
• Train and mentor new or less experienced crew members, clearly communicating job expectations and best practices.
• Coordinate morning load-up and ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are ready for the day’s work.
• Safely drive crew truck and trailer to and from job sites.
• Report job progress, crew performance, and any issues to the Production Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain company quality and safety standards on all job sites.
• Accurately complete daily paperwork or app-based reporting, such as timesheets and job notes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping required; leadership experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT medical card.
• Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience, with overtime pay available after 40 hours.
