About the Job:

We are on the hunt for multiple experienced Housekeepers to join our talented team and help execute an outstanding guest experience. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare a high-quality cleaning service that meets the client's expectations while being a team player on our exceptional team.

Housekeeper's responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning all aspects of venues, cleaning the floors, concession areas, restrooms, and sanitizing areas. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

HOUSEKEEPERS' ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

• Making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls.
• Cleaning areas as assigned by the supervisor.
• Vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
• Washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Keep all areas clean to avoid hindering operations.
• To work as a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible in order to ensure that operations are always as efficient and profitable as possible.

HOUSEKEEPERS QUALIFICATIONS: 

• To arrive at work for scheduled shifts and be punctual, always following company absence, lateness procedure if unable to do so.
• To treat company property with due care and attention.
• Adhering to and maintaining cleaning checklists and carrying out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred.
• Must have strong organizational skills and take pride in attention to detail.

HOUSEKEEPERS' PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

• Ability to stand and walk on sometimes slippery surfaces for extended periods of time.
• Ability to twist, turn, push, pull, and reach down, forward, and overhead repetitively; Kneel, squat, stoop, and crouch frequently.
• Must be able to use general cleaning supplies; Grasp, lift, push, pull, and use cleaning equipment.
• Able to frequently bend, reach, balance, and push or lift 20 pounds during shift.

HOUSEKEEPERS' EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• The ability to stand for long hours.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules.
• Excellent above-average hourly rate and free boarding on Resort Island.
