Your New Role

Located in Portland, Oregon , this in-office role is the financial heartbeat of our operation. You’ll be:

• Owning the full-cycle accounting for our construction projects

• Managing accounts payable, receivable, job costing, WIP, and financial reconciliations

• Generating accurate, well-formatted reports using QuickBooks and other software tools

• Supporting internal audits and monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes

• Handling customer billing, collections, lien waivers, and vendor payments

• Collaborating with project managers to ensure data accuracy and job profitability

• Maintaining fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and cash flow monitoring

• 3+ years of accounting experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or related trades

• Construction experience is a must

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent construction accounting experience)

• Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting

• High proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and document management tools like DocuWare

• Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., ADP) and certified payroll reporting

• Familiarity with Progressive Billing and retainage

• Exceptional accuracy, problem-solving, and time-management skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
