About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven and strategic Carrier Sales Representative to join our Carrier Operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing and managing carrier capacity for inbound regional freight while growing a high-performing network of trusted carrier partners. You’ll negotiate rates, build long-term relationships, and serve as a key link within our Operations team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Secure and manage carrier capacity across defined regional freight lanes
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing carriers
Partner with the Carrier Relations Director to onboard and assess carrier performance
Negotiate pricing and agreements to ensure competitive and profitable margins
Track and trace shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery
Troubleshoot service issues and communicate proactively with internal teams
Maintain accurate records within the TMS
Monitor market trends to anticipate capacity needs and pricing shifts
Support additional operations-related tasks as directed by leadership

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when updating load info, tracking progress, and entering carrier data
